The Walker Gallery

The Walker Gallery has the greatest collection of fine and decorative art in the North of England and its contemporary collection is on the rise. Not only does it have spectacular pieces from Rembrandt, Rubens, Millais, Rossetti, Turner and Holman Hunt but hosts the famous Liverpool Landscape by Ben Johnson which is truly a must-see. At the Walker Gallery even the kids can get involved with the “Big Art for Little Artists” which is a gallery specially designed for children to join in and enjoy art too. There is a welcome cafe and gift shop and the gallery is a 15 minute walk from the apartments (5 minutes in a taxi) a stone’s throw away from Liverpool Lime Street.
